Our Leadership
Chris has 17 years of experience in the defense contracting community, supporting the U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency, and major prime contractors. He has led multidisciplinary teams, managed multimillion-dollar portfolios, and executed complex contracts across a wide range of vehicles and pricing models. His responsibilities have included finance, accounting, contracts and subcontracts, human resources, and business development—often balancing these roles while simultaneously overseeing numerous active programs.
Chris views leadership through the lens of servant leadership. His role as CEO is to serve Cypress Lake employees, ensuring they have the resources, support, and clarity needed to succeed. In turn, employees serve customers—whether government agencies, teammates, prime contractors, subcontractors, or one another—always in support of the mission. His career has reinforced the principle that organizations achieve lasting success when leaders prioritize people and relationships first.
Why Cypress Lake Was Founded
Cypress Lake Solutions was founded to create a company where people come first. Chris’s vision is a workplace built on transparency, trust, and respect—where employees know they are valued, and in turn are empowered to serve customers with excellence and integrity.
The goal is simple: to build a company that people aspire to work for, and customers aspire to work with—not only for its technical expertise, but also for its culture of servant leadership and commitment to doing right by people.

The Meaning of “Cypress Lake”
The name comes from a lake on Chris’s family rice farm in Arkansas, where bald cypress trees grow out of the water on deep roots that anchor them securely. For Chris, this place symbolizes peace, faith, fellowship, and strength. The cypress roots reflect the enduring foundation he wants Cypress Lake Solutions to represent—an organization built on relationships, community, and the principle of serving others first.
